Finally IPL, which wasn’t played in the early months of 2020, has been on in the UAE. In the UAE, at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, the match between Mumbai & Chennai started on Sept 19, 2020. Saturday is too good for an IPL tournament to commence with. And the much awaited IPL season started even though a few months late. However, IPL fake crowd sounds annoying people, who are watching the games on TV.

“This is nuisance”. Said most of the people watching IPL matches on the TV sets. They claimed that cricket is not just fun but the game of real heroes.

Loads of advertisements showed every over and IPL fake crowd sounds also not acceptable. These days, people want reality. And it would have been fine if the matches telecasted without the fake crowd sounds. People want what they expect and they could not digest what’s shown to them. Empty Sheikh Zayed Stadium seen as players performing at their best along with fake IPL crowd sounds.

This is not a smart step taken as people are fed up with fake stories and fake news posts. Cricket is all a gentle game, which requires no glamor or anything else for its publicity. People can still watch the games they like without fake crowd sounds. Isn’t it?

Every time, the organizers looking to mint money through already world famous tournament IPL makes sense. But, to fool the audience at home watching the games as if a packed stadium whistling and clapping. Even sounds of cheering Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), disturbing most of the people.

Many people were so angry and annoyed that they switched off their TV sets mid way. That’s a strong reaction for what the organizers did with fake crowd sounds. It’s not pure and real entertainment after all.
