Asaduddin Owaisi shot with drone by Television channel

Hyderabad’s Lok Sabha candidate and AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi along with Party MLA Mumtaz Ahmed Khan started campaigning on a large scale.

The Corporation leaders include Syed Sohail Quadri, Mohd Mustafa Ali Muzaffar, Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan for their door to door campaigns.

They were seen along with party supporters ahead of the Lok Sabha election in Old City, Hyderabad on Wednesday Morning.

Television team also covered Asaduddin Owaisi’s padyatra and they did so with drone camera, which offended the law. Earlier, the Hyderabad police had banned the use of drones for a month in April. Hyderabad police did so after receiving inputs from the intelligence agencies about the possibility of terror attacks.

As per a notification issued by Commissioner of Police and Executive Magistrate of Hyderabad City, the media should follow the guidelines. Media to use drone, and the government agencies and organisations should get appropriate clearance.

Appropriately, the local police and aviation authorities should be approached before launching the drone technology for any purpose.

The government had already announced the formation of three committees to help a panel set up in April. And this goes on to say that to prepare a road map for regulating and implementing drone technology in the country.

Moreover, the committees would make their recommendations on manufacturing and licensing of drones. Use for any purpose the airspace and air traffic management and laws related to the issue, needs attention. About law and order during the election period, the Civil Aviation Ministry had already clarified.

The decision was taken during the first meeting of the drone task force chaired by the junior minister for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha. Interestingly, the television channel, which offended the guideline that was made is Aaj Tak, it was reported.
