The Indian cricket team sent a strong message to the Pakistanis by losing the match against England. However, they showed a weak character by knocking singles around from the 45th over. MS Dhoni was at the crease with Kedar Jadhav. But Dhoni was able to play big hits only in the last over when India needed over 40 runs. How can he win the game by taking it into the last over? Even he hits 6 sixes in the last over India would have still lost, and they lost.
It’s a game of cricket and you shouldn’t do such politics in the gentleman’s sports. What will happen if England loses to New Zealand? India’s intentions are to oust Pakistan from Semis but still they’ll fail if England loses to Kiwis.
Indians will play their next game against Bangladesh. After joining hands with England they’ll surely feel guilty for trying their best to oust Pakistan. This frame of mindset for the team India is not good and worse for Indian cricket. They should play each game on merit irrespective of playing out of their skins only against Pakistan.
An inquiry and thorough investigations should be done by BCCI to find what for Indian team getting paid. They’re paid enough and they’re not serving the nation the right way. A soft dismissal of Virat Kohli wasn’t necessary to come up. Only Hardik Pandya played for the Indian cricket and was selfless. India’s cricket would have raised new heights had they won against England as well.
