With accordance of the rules of the pandemic, visitors checked with thermal scanning before entering into the Zoo. It’s mandatory to cover your face by wearing masks to protect the virus entering from mouth and nostrils. Nearly 40 sanitizer dispensers installed at different locations. where you’ll find more facilities of washing hands frequently. And all the wash rooms sanitized and soap dispensers placed. Battery operated vehicles and train facility also made available with 50% occupancy for maintaining social distancing.
New Facilities for Nehru Zoo Park in Hyderabad

This is good with regard to the Covid-19 protocol. 1137 visitors visited the Nehru Zoo park on the first day of reopening. Also 66th Vanya Prani Saptah celebrated today. On this occasion Smt. R. Sobha (Chief Wildlife Warden), was the chief guest. And she inaugurated the newly built inpatient facility at the Zoo hospital area.
This facility comprises of animal enclosures for the sick animal undergoing medical treatment. The White Tiger Enclosure and Delivery room also opened. The Nehru Zoo park in Hyderabad is much more better now.

Narender, Electrician, for their excellent services for the year 2019-20. The Zoo Annual report presented by the Chief Conservator of Forests (HOFF) & Chief Wildlife Warden. Speaking on the occasion Smt. R. Sobha, said that all the Zoo staff worked very hard in this pandemic season to upkeep the health of the wild animals. And kept the zoo very clean and tidy.
