In a novel initiative, young desirous students seeking admission into medical courses, will be supported. And whose families have been affected by floods or have succumbed to Covid-19, also will be supported. They will be provided with free admission in Shaheen Academy for NEET coaching. 

Scholarship Worth 5 Crore Rupees for NEET Aspirants Announced.

Shaheen academy founder & chairman in a press conference announced more benefits to NEET toppers along with free NEET coaching. And their parents also will be supported.

At Media Plus Auditorium on Tuesday morning,  Founder and Chairman of Shaheen Group of Institutions Dr. Abdul Khadeer announced. He said that: “Any student who have qualified for free medical seat in any government medical college of India. But limited by financial resources will be assisted financially to pursue higher education.”

“The Shaheen Group of Institutions also announced educational scholarship worth five crore rupees for Shaheen students across its 42 branches throughout India. The scholarship is aimed at helping students, whose studies affected due to financial limitations of their family”. Said Dr. Khadeer. 

“The lockdown due to pandemic affected the ability of impoverished families to educate their children”, he added. He also expressed concern over the declining number of boys in higher education. And he added that the “trend could tarnish the social fabric and disrupt the balance of the society”.

He also expressed concern over the vanishing of boys section in certain institutes. And he warned that the trend could be dangerous in the future.

The 30-year old Karnataka-based educational group, has claimed that:

Nearly 20 students, who have qualified for free medical seats in its first year of establishment in Hyderabad. And also more than 400 students expected to secure free seats for NEET coaching. Also seats for deserving students are free in MBBS, BDS, MHMS courses in government. And private medical colleges through the group’s different branches across India.

Shaheen Group has set up two more branches recently at Charminar and Aram Ghar and expects the results to be more than double by next academic year.

NEET Toppers who studied at the Institution including Karthik Reddy, who secured first rank in Karnataka State. And 9th at All India level with 710 out of 720 marks. Mohammed Arbaaz Khan who secured third in Karnataka and 85th rank at national level with 700 out of 720 marks shared their success stories while interacting with the media.

Another student Mohammed Anas, who travelled from Uttar Pradesh to Bidar to study at Shaheen Group, qualified in sixth attempt writing the exam, shared: How Shaheen Group helped him achieve “what at first seemed a distant dream”.

Mr. Khadeer said “the success of Karthik Reddy and Arbaaz Khan among other students in a national competitive exam is an example of how communal harmony at Shaheen Group of Institutions, maintained .” Last year, state top ranks secured by the institution’s students. Mr Khadeer also announced that the educational group will be launching Shaheen Civil Services Academy from this year. This will offer integrated coaching for civil services, right from schooling level.

The group recently caught attention for its humanitarian services when most of their educational campuses in Bidar were used as Quarantine Centre for Covid-19 positive patients.
