SRH and MI have the potential to win big matches, while they played IPL 2020’s final league match today. It was do or die IPL 2020 match 56 for SRH to storm into playoffs, which begins from Thursday onwards. Having won 3 matches in a row, SRH looks for 5 wins successively in order to make Hyderabadis more happy. SRH (Sun Risers Hyderabad) and MI (Mumbai Indians) played IPL 2020’s match 56 on Nov 3.

SRH were aggressive since the beginning of their innings when they needed 150 to win after MI posted 149 on board. 150 was not that low score, which MI could have defended if they had not rested Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult. However, Rohit Sharma played this match as he passed his fitness test today, recovering from hamstring injury. He never looked comfortable with the bat and he was out in quick time. His short innings was disastrous after he was out for 4 runs off 7 balls. Wickets began to fall from there on, at regular intervals.

SRH Looks For 5 Wins Successively & More

Kieron Pollard batted extremely well according to his role as a stroke player. And he hit 4 sixes, 2 fours in his innings of 41 off 25 balls. His herculean effort to score more quick runs ended when he was bowled off Jason Holder’s full toss. However, MI managed to score a modest total of 149. This score looked as a defending score until SRH scored 56 off the first six overs of the powerplay without losing a wicket.

David Warner and Wridhiman Saha batted extremely well to take SRH home. This tremendous win boosted morale of the SRH players. It will be the greatest gift for Hyderabad fans as SRH looks for 5 wins successively. Good comeback from a very poor performance against Punjab, where SRH could not chase 127. And even after electing to field first.

Bowlers did good job, but the batters disappointed Hyderabadis. And Telangana State people. That was a miserable performance against Punjab. But, SRH learned a lot and executed their game plans very well after losing to Punjab. Punjab is eliminated surprisingly. But SRH have 3 more games to play.

SRH looks for 5 wins successively as they have their first game as an eliminator against RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore). If they win against RCB then they need to defeat the loser of the qualifier, either Delhi or Mumbai to reach the final. The final will be much interesting if SRH manages to reach it. It looks SRH will grab the coveted IPL 2020 trophy this time again. If SRH wins IPL 2020, then that will be their sixth successive win or their sixth consecutive victories of the tournament. And all their six matches in a row, looks do and die encounters.

Playoffs:

Winner of Qualifier goes straight to the final. Loser will play against the winner of the eliminator. Loser of eliminator will be exited. But the winner of eliminator vs loser of Qualifier will play to reach the final. Between these teams, the winner will play the one, who was the winner of the Qualifier in the final. Winner of final will be the IPL 2020 Champ.
