Saudi Arabia to impose a three year travel ban on Saudi citizens travelling to countries on the kingdom’s ‘red list’: According to a report on NDTV. And Saudi Arabia’s efforts are to curb the spread of coronavirus and its variants, the news agency SPA also reported.
“Any Saudi Citizen, who is proven to be involved in visits to red listed countries, will be subject to legal accountability. And heavy penalties they’ve to bear with, whenever they return. And they’ll be banned from foreign visits for three years,” The Saudi official briefed. However, surprisingly, the red list includes Pakistan and excludes Bangladesh.
Saudi Arabia excludes Bangladesh from red list of travel ban while includes UAE and Pakistan. A shocking move to keep UAE and Pakistan in the red list because cases in both regions aren’t too scary.
