Middle class people, who’re clever enough always look behind their previous month’s extra expenses. And they workout to act reasonably in order to control their expenses so that they can still have some money during the end of the month.
The extra expenses would be like: Outside food, visiting malls to shop expensive things, weekend expenses, and so on. They study how they had spent extra money in the previous month or months. They do keep working accordingly. And they stop purchasing those products, which were of no use and were expensive.
Controlling the expenses is good not only for the middle class, but also for the rich as you never know what will happen on the another day.

When the wife argues and asks a middleclass husband:
“Listen, our kids are growing and we can’t manage with your salary of INR 70k, and so look for a good job”. The positive thinking husband replies: “My dear, suppose, if I was used to earn less than INR 30k, your parents had even preferred me than others to marry you with me. And you too had agreed, not thinking about my low salary.
Over this time, my salary would be around INR 40k. I would still be happy as my kids are happy. But, I’m earning more than INR 40k as my current salary is INR 70k. Won’t you ever be satisfied with what I’m doing. And in addition why would I leave this company, where I’m enjoying my work ? Yes, I’m working on achieving the goals that I’ve already set”.
Positive Wife:
When a middle class husband says:
“Listen, ever since my two colleagues left the company, who are my friends too, I lost interest working here. I want to resign and I want to do work in another company even if the pay is lesser than what I’m earning here”.
The positive wife replies: “What if when the same situation for you arises in another company and also you’ve to bear with two things at a time. One lesser salary or pay and the other new bad situations, which you know not. Also if you can take care of the kids, then I would do a good job. Then again, you can’t fulfill the needs of the children, staying at home all the time. Try to manage and be happy working here and understand the job requirement to finish with, everyday. Do your duty and come home, I’m happy for you if you bear small issues”.
