India bowled out for 345 as New Zealand fighting hard

India bowled out for 345 just after lunch break after losing 8 wickets before lunch. New Zealand fought hard today mostly before lunch to pick top wickets of Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja. Shreyas Iyer scored a superb century in his debut as the 303rd Test debutant for India. He batted well but Jadeja without adding anymore runs was out and then Wriddhiman Saha got out early too. That was a great fight back by the Kiwis.

New Zealand openers batting too slow as India needs to turn towards spin bowling. Both T. Latham and W. Young batting cautiously and so Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav after bowling 3 overs each fighting hard to break the opening partnership. Ravichandran Ashwin also bowling tight. Bowlers doing their job, but Kiwi batters not allowing opportunities as they’re leaving the balls, which are not necessary to play.

While Ishant Sharma given a break, Umesh Yadav continues to bowl. He’s bowling maximum good balls for no positive outcome. Kiwis playing good cricket at the moment. India needs to introduce Axar Patel too.
