During the late 90s and in the early 2000s, there was huge flow of people on visit visas to UAE. The intent of visit visas for the people from India was to do jobs. Manmohan was working in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates as an IT (Information Technology) expert. Information technology work was too easy for him because he was full of tech knowledge and also did IT courses. He started working in a Dubai company in the year 2003. Since then he earned so much in few years that in 2012, he purchased a property in India. Almost working for the Dubai company for about 9 years. His experience and loyal hardworking skills put him in a senior position without much increment in his salary.

However, in 2014, he thought to earn more and become rich in quick time. He was aware of how the Dubai company used to operate and much more. So, he took a huge loan from a bank and also from his savings, he started a business. And he left the job.

Lost Job, Wealth & Respect

Shocking for him was his business wasn’t doing well and he was losing a lot. In 2015, he thought it was not good for him to keep paying the loan installments and he decided to take another decision. He had to do this because the bank to which he owed a lot of loan money couldn’t be paid. In 2016, he returned to India after losing huge money of his savings and of the loan from the bank.

He lost the job because he had quit it for doing business of his own. Also lost huge amount of money. And then his family started abusing him. He was nowhere, and he also couldn’t decide what to do to bring back the respect he used to receive.

He kept on applying for jobs in India, and he didn’t get one for three years. It was very sad that he had to sit at home and his young children and wife took full control of him. He used to earn more as an IT expert in Dubai and so his family was happy. Now, after quitting the job and losing huge money in his own business, he failed miserably. However, one fine day, and as he was experienced person, he got an IT job in India. He’s working on a low salary and having little to save and yes his family still not happy with him.

The lesson to learn from this tech story of rich businessman is if you’re working for a company then keeping working or look for job change. But never quit a high paying job to do business. You’ll end up losing a lot instead of earning more money.
