Based on intelligence info on Feb 23 2022, Hyderabad Customs booked case for smuggling of huge gold against a male passenger. The passenger arrived by Indigo Flight 6E 187 from Imphal. A huge weight of about 975.16 grams of gold seized. The gold valued ₹50,70,832, recovered on time. Gold was in paste looking form, concealed inside the rectum of the passenger. Further investigation is in progress.
