No wonder, India lost early wickets just too earlier than usual, Ravindra Jadeja brought India back. Jadeja scored a match winning performance with both bat and ball. He scored an unbeaten 175 and took 5 wickets when Sri Lanka started playing defensively. He had already put so much pressure on Sri Lanka as Rohit Sharma said: “It was Ravindra Jadeja’s green signal for the declaration. A selfless cricketer”.
Jadeja could have easily scored a double hundred. Also Jadeja took 4 more wickets in the second innings of the Sri Lankan team.
Ravindra Jadeja took a total of 9 wickets in the first cricket Test match against Sri Lanka at Mohali. Followed nicely by Ashwin, Bumrah and Shami.
