ICC ODI Team Rank Of India Below 4 Teams

The beatable teams, which India since over 10 years used to consider, were New Zealand, England, Australia, and Pakistan. All these four teams upfront are playing good cricket currently. Pakistan after white-washing West Indies in the ODI series of just three matches, have left India behind, in the ICC ODI team rankings. West Indies is a very good team in the white ball cricket. But couldn’t fight too good in Pakistan to win at least one ODI.

The attacking West Indies would also play India within couple of weeks time. This again would put India to fall even further down as India likely to play more T20Is this year. The ICC ODI team ranking is all important, but not for the World Cup to be played in India in 2023, soon after T20 World Cup finishes in Australia.

Earlier, some people started explaining that Pakistan would not likely to tour India in 2023 for the World Cup. This was so and was also of delight to so many India fans, but Pakistan played so nicely that they defeated West Indies 3 out of 3. Thus, Pakistan is placed at number 4. India is placed at number 5, in the ICC ODI team ranking. Remember, this ranking is not worth to note which 8 teams would play in 2023 in India for the World Cup. It’s too early to say.
