The BA.5 subvariant of Omicron detected in Delhi in the last 24 hours. Moreover, India reports almost 19,000 new positive cases of the infectious disease in the last 24 hours. Delhi Omicron variant cases although few in number, are a cause of worry and to study about when the fourth wave would possibly occur in India. It’s also unclear whether in July first week the positive cases of the infectious disease would surge, and hospitals would see huge rush.
However, within 15 days, it’s likely that India would see a surge. This means, people should be well prepared and follow all the norms otherwise the control of the pandemic in India would be tougher.
The number exactly so far, of the deaths in India, is 5,25,116 with 39 deaths added in the last 24 hours. The active cases surge load is of 0.21 percentage of the total infections. But the COVID-19 recovery rate is still good, standing at 98.58 percent, the Health Ministry said.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in India bounced to about 4,34,52,164 in the last 24 hours. This report is according to the Health Ministry as the active cases load raised to about 104,555. It means over 1 lakh active cases along with few percentage from it, due to Omicron variants.
Delhi Omicron variant cases, are the wakeup call for one and all to follow all necessary precautions. If not, then at least avoid social gathering, according to the COVID norms. A gathering of more than 5 people already prohibited in the Telangana State.
