It looks like Pakistan to snatch a victory here in Sri Lanka’s Galle International Stadium, which looked not possible. However, the first Test match evenly poised though Pakistan can achieve a win in the conditions suitable for the home-side: Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka currently hoping to pick more wickets and also desperately appealing in vain.

An unbelievable review was made earlier and Sri Lanka lost it. The ball was miles away from hitting the wickets. A leg before wicket review easily turned down by the third umpire.

An 87 run opening stand between Abdullah Shafique and Imam Ul Huq, brought some life in the Test match. Furthermore, soon after Imam Ul Huq was dismissed in a peculiar way, it was Babar Azam, who started to play attacking strokes. Slowly, but moving ahead, these two Shafique and Babar played cautiously.

Pakistan lost two wickets. First one: Imam Ul Huq got out for 35 and then: Azhar Ali for 6.

Sri Lanka scored 222 in their first innings. Scored 337 in their second innings. Pakistan was just 4 runs short and scored 218 in their first innings. A target for Pakistan is set as 342. A mammoth one, because of the conditions and top class Sri Lankan bowling.
