“Obviously”, you will say so and even like to say every crime is sin for every reason. But, do you know every sin is not a crime? Yes, there are too many sins that are not considered as crimes. You would lie as a showoff, which is a sin, but not a crime.
However, a lie or fake post or speaking lies in front of police or any govt official for the reasons to protect yourself. And speaking lies to hide the crimes you did, considered as a sin and a crime too. Big or small sins maybe not the crimes, but crimes will be the sins, after all.
You can’t judge yourself to feel or think that the world will never end and so you can easily keep committing sins. What if the world ends according to the beliefs and what the believers follow? They do worship the Creator, but not the creations. Remember every crime is sin because believers do not have the right to create mischief on earth.
You’ll be not forced to stay away from committing sins, but you’ll be forced to stay away from committing crimes. You follow laws of this world to stay in peace, but still do not mind to backbite, hurt others, cheat your spouses by having “illegal sex” and so on. Illegal sex is not a crime, but a sin, and if men keep watching women or women keep watching men, then both the genders committing sin.
Watching and having fun through any act of sexual activity, considered a sin, but not a crime. Here, eve-teasing is both a crime and a sin. A smallest sin, can take you to commit a big sin, and then you commit a small or big crime too.
Sins To Crimes
Sins like killing, teasing, injuring someone or abusing are considered as crimes. Killing is a sin according to almost all religions. “Killing a human-being is like killing the entire humanity, and it’s not acceptable”. According to Islam. On the other hand, Islam also points out “saving a human-being is like saving the entire humanity, and the protectors will be rewarded”. These are sins to crimes, which means a sin taking you to be held as a criminal too.
Furthermore, consuming alcohol to get intoxicated or just tasting it, would lead you to commit other sins. And from here a person likely to commit a crime.
Tasting few drops of alcohol is also considered as a sin, but not crime even if you drink just too much. At the end after tasting few drops of alcohol, you would, as a human-being likely to become addicted to it. Plenty of small sins are there from where your sins like occasional drinking transforms you to commit crimes.
It’s likely that every sin might not take you to commit crimes, but every crime is sin for sure.
