Cybercrime increasing day by day in such a way that you’ll be shocked to know even your name’s duplicate profiles created. Suppose if your name is Ahmed Bin Ibrahim or Ravichandran Nagarajan, and so the Facebook fake Id fraudsters knock your other friends with your duplicate named Facebook profile. Your name will be used upon your Facebook friends, and your friends will be told to transfer some money using their UPI to someone else.

The Facebook fake Id fraudsters, would politely ask your friends to transfer some money, and they will say that they will return the money, in the morning. That’s how, a few of your friends get trapped just because they act, too much good, but irresponsibly. Remember, next time you’ll be the victim, but how? Let’s know.

Here in this different scenario, you’ll be very keen to know the intent of some other person, asking money, behaving as your Facebook friend. You’ll check the Facebook fake Id and confirm it to yourself that he’s or she’s not your friend, but a fraudster.

So, you won’t become a victim of such cybercrime. However, what if you’re too much busy, working from home? Suddenly, a good friend of yours, sends you a friend request. You’ll be shocked as you’ll be busy, and so instantly you’ll think something else. This something else thought in your busy mind, puts you in trouble. But how? Let’s know.

You’ll lose money with your quick response

You might think that he or she is already your friend on Facebook, and have sent you a friend request? No! at that busy hours in the night, mostly after 9: pm, you rather think to help your friend, ASAP. This means, you’ll think somehow your friendship disconnected and then your friend sent you again a gentle friend request.

A friend in need is a friend indeed! No, not at all. Let’s not forget that your siblings, your-cousins and many other-relative including from your in-laws, would be in your friend-list on Facebook.

In the context of your busy hour, you’ll think nothing better than accepting the friend request because of seeing the profile picture of your friend. The friend maybe your cousin or brother in- law or someone you like the most.

Facebook messenger shows the profile picture and the friend’s request. You do that instantly, since you’re too much busy after accepting the friend request, what will then happen?

You’ll lose money this way, with your quick response to save your precious time and to act as good as possible. So, he or she will ask you to transfer somewhere around ₹20k to ₹30k to his or her friend. Immediately to please your friend, who is although linked with Facebook fake Id fraudsters, which you know later. But at that time, you’ll transfer the amount asked.

1 of the Facebook fake id fraudsters

Let’s see the screenshot image below:

Caption 1: Followed by saluting you, fraudsters ask immediately something this way: “Kuch amount transfer karna tha”. Means, some amount needs to be transferred? “Ho sakhta h kya”. Means, is it possible? ₹20,000. You’ll get it back in the morning tomorrow.

Thinking in quick time because of your busy hour. Yes many people like you, go through with at least one very busy hour in a day.

You’ll transfer the amount and see below what happens then?

.

Caption 2: The fraudsters are so greedy that they ask after this. Is it completed. Send me screenshot and then. It’s a bit urgent. Do transfer ₹30,000 more. You’ll get back all ₹50,000 by tomorrow.

Have you read the captions of the screenshots? Here, you’ll get alert and check the fraudsters profile, which you found as fake. You’ll try first to call your UPI customer care, and then to your bank or cybercrime. You won’t get any response because it’s the night time. So, in the morning, you’ll visit the bank. The bank will guide you to report the matter to your police station. You did all that and what’s wrong now.

You’ve to register the complaint too in the national cyber crime portal. You did that too. All this done within 24 hours. But you try to check the status since you’ll be given with an acknowledgement number. 7-8 days passes by and the status shows it’s “under process”.

Your response in vain or not

Shaking your head in awe because you’ve many expenses that you’ve to bear with, you’ll then visit the police station again. There, what happens? The police officers say. “Unfortunately, your bank has not freeze the money, and so it’s not possible to get back your money. It’s been credited to that fraudster. But we will try”. You register an FIR.

That’s it either you’ll get your money back to you in a long-longtime or you lose your precious money. That’s how the story goes on; when financial fraud happens. Cheaters are just too many. Don’t trust anyone before lending money. That’s the basic thing.
