Bangladesh late fightback more for India to chase more

Bangladesh trail by 87 runs initially, and to take a lead, just less than 150 runs, have done good. The bowlers have something on the board to bowl at. India was pretty happy. But a hardworking chase in the fourth innings of the Test match certainly can test India batters. Bangladesh late fightback would be just enough to win, but the win probability throughout, favored India.

Interesting to know how would India play against a good Bangladesh bowling attack on the fourth day. The Test match moves on to the fourth day, and India already lost 4 wickets for just 45 runs. The first time India ever lost 4 wickets by scoring less than 50 in 2022. It’s a do or die situation for Bangladesh, and the tigers did great fightback in the end. They played well and interestingly, still in the game.

Bangladesh’s top scorer Litton Das was bamboozled to a beauty of a delivery. Mohammed Siraj bowled Litton as the latter wasn’t happy and was clueless over what happened. And since then Taskin Ahmed couldn’t do much as the Bangla’ innings folded up at 231. He did well along with Litton Das (73, 98b), but the runout of Khaled Ahmed ended Bangladesh innings, marginally to a below par score.

India just needed 145 to win yet another Test match in Bangladesh. However, India lost KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli. The top order already wiped off. India are 45/4 at stumps on day 3.

It’s up to the lower middle order batters to score 100 more runs. Bangladesh are happy with what happened on day 3 and are looking forward to pick another 6 wickets on day 4. That wouldn’t be likely as India can comeback in the game.
