Delhi had lost many matches with their name game as Delhi Dare Devils and had never won the Cup. With so many IPL seasons passed by Delhi was desperate to win. However, they had to change their name by removing “devils” as they looked superstitious to many. That’s not that they are superstitious and in sensible action, they appear positive by eliminating “devils”.
People often say, what’s in a name? On the other hand naming a business as solid as it to look at, is always required. The name “Delhi Capitals” depicts that they are at present felt that by removing “devils” they did a good job.
It was always told that “devils” can’t win in the fairy tales and importantly with religious messages. Delhi behaved well after the game changing new name Delhi Capitals. They stood united as a team and are performing better in each match they play in the cash rich tournament.
In Hinduism, money is regarded as Laxmi and it needs respect. To win in IPL is to win huge money in the form of Laxmi. While in Islam money has not much value but on the other hand the name “devil” is not suitable accordingly with Islamic teachings.
IPL points table shows Delhi in the top with 3rd position being next to Chennai and Mumbai currently. Chennai is on the top and has won more IPL finals in the past. This time it’s Delhi’s turn. And they can turnaround things to win the 2019 title. Finally, it was hoped and expected that Delhi is favorite and can be the winners of IPL 2019.
