Eid shopping keeps Muslims away from worshiping in Ramadan

Massive shopping crowd from different parts of the city found with heavy rush at shops in old city. Eid Ul Fitr will probably be celebrated on June 5 and even on Eid day, Muslims need to pray the Eid prayer. Thereafter they can meet their friends and relatives until Zuhr prayer and after that Asr prayer follows. While they need to offer Maghrib prayer after sunset and at night there’s Isha’ prayer.

Moreover, during this blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims are seen shopping for Eid. However, the last 10 days of Ramadan are more important for Muslims to seek forgiveness and worship the Creator. But they are seen wasting their time on shopping in the old city. It looks as if they can generate more hours from the allotted 24 hours per day. It’s sad that Muslims seem to be occupied with activities not necessary.
