In a horrible incident on August 4 2019, it was worrying to know about a new mob lynching case. A dog bites cow and there was panic created by the mob to kill the owners of the dog. They thought that the dog belonged to the Muslim family and they rushed to kill the Muslims.
Later on the police arrived and when they were about to harm the Muslim family, the case took a new turn. Though it was a heinous crime that could have happened had they knew something else. It was a new low as such the people were seen shouting slogans of Jai Shree Ram etc. It was a crime to build up a team to find out who’s the owner of the dog. And they bothered about killing not the dog, who bitten the cow but the owners.
When Dog Belonged to whom Known to the Mob Lynching Terrorists
When after some investigation, it was found that the dog belonged to a Hindu family with proof. The mob was confused and stopped going further into the matter. Although the mob were guilty of creating lynching out of nowhere, the police sent them back and they fled away. The feeling was that had the dog belonged to a Muslim family then the matter will be closed with lynching. Even then the deciders are the people, who felt it was not good to harm a Hindu family to whom the dog belongs.
It was few hours of confusion and the mob lynching about to start, ended in confusion. No harm done to the dog. There was higher intent to kill the Muslims as they thought the dog belonged to them. But, when they knew the dog actually belongs to the Hindu family they gave up. What they gave up after knowing that they shouldn’t harm their fellow Hindus, whose dog bitten the cow. Disastrous story revealed today and a lesson was learned.
