Orgs donated cash to Indian Red Cross Society of Telangana for Poor

In response to the call given by the Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, a couple of orgs donated cash. And blankets to the Indian Red Cross Society, Telangana Branch, to help the rain-affected people in the State.

On Thursday, Dr. B. Vijay Bhaskar Goud of Disabled Foundation has handed over a check of 1 Lakh in favor of the Indian Red Cross Society to the Governor. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan handed over the check to the IRCS.

Dr Vijaya Bhaskar Goud, who also offers medical services to the needy at the Ravi Helios Hospital, also donated medicines intended for the distribution to the rain and flood-affected people.

One Mani Deep of Mani Deep Charitable Trust donated blankets. And handed over the same to the Governor at the Raj Bhavan dispensary facility. The donations were received and acknowledged.

The Governor appreciated the noble gesture of Dr Vijaya Bhaskar Goud and Mani Deep and many others. They have come forward to donate to help the flood affected people.

“We need to rise up during the crises and help the needy and other displaced people. People affected from heavy rains and the consequent flooding in many areas of the city and State,” the Governor added. Couple of orgs donated cash as a good cause to be taken forward for distribution to the poor people.
