Rajasthan Municipal Election pushes BJP back as Congress is ahead

Rajasthan Municipal Elections currently held for 49 of the state’s 196 civic bodies in the first phase. Congress is declared to win with majority of votes by pushing BJP behind but Independents can pose threats. The congress with a huge margin of 224 wards is ahead of BJP. It was learned from Election Commission. However, BJP is looking forward to take the onus in their favor. Congress has been ahead of BJP but it seems Congress will not reach their target.

It’s because Independents are leading on 368 wards. It’s a good number for the Independents to play a key role in the formation of Municipal Boards.

Congress is leading in Baran, Barmer, Chittorgarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, and Sirohi. BJP is leading from only four places. They’re Ajmer, Alwar, Jalore, and Udaipur.

It was also learned that 72 % voters exercised voting. Latest update on the Municipal Elections can be known by visiting:

On 21st of Nov the results will be declared it seems. The results can go in which party’s favor cannot be predicted. It will be known very soon.

Earlier, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot observed the Elections as voters’ approval for his govt. He also said that the results of Municipal Elections in Rajasthan are satisfactory. This means that BJP will find a suitable way to overtake Congress from behind. Thus, too sooner to say anything as of now. It appears as if BJP is losing their image in the good book of the voters.
