Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been respected and given great honor by the Indians and Pakistanis. Maharaj was applauded for his skills and role as a fighter for India that he had done with great effort in the past. He was many times honored by the Indian government and remembered. He has more followers than Pundit Nehru, yet he is compared to a person, who killed Mahatma Gandhi? It’s dismal attitude that was shown by the BJP by saying Godse as patriot and some even compared him to the elite.
Gudur Narayana Reddy was angry over this and many more opposition leaders of the BJP including Rahul Gandhi were felt concerned.
There’s no point to talk about Nathuram Godse and late Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhiji is always in the hearts of the Indians and the world knows Gandhiji very well. Yet there arises the question why BJP leaders uplifted the name of Godse by comparing him to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The voices were raised by the Congress and many more opposition leaders only on this issue. The issue should have been dealt inside BJP by Narendra Modi and others. However, no one from the BJP said a word on this big mistake.
