Today Yudhvir Gold Medal in Journalism presented to Syed Khaled Shahbaz. He was conferred with Yudhvir Gold Medal for Journalism by the Osmania University. In the Osmania University he was a topper for the MCJ course of the 2015-16 batch. The Gold Medal was presented on the 80th Convocation of Osmania University held on Monday, 17th June 2019. He is the Partner and CEO of Media Plus. Syed Khaled Shahbaz is also freelance journalist and writes for many news publications in India and abroad.
A large section of Media particularly Press Photographers were not allowed to cover the convocation Ceremony. A group of private photographers, who as such allowed to capture photos of the ceremony are charging high amounts. Meritorious students to get a copy of their memorable photograph paid huge money to the photographers. However, it was seen that Syed Khaled Shahbaz was happy to receive the award.
