Under green initiative, the Dell company in Hyderabad have taken up intensive planting in the premises of Nehru Zoological park. At Hyderabad in coordination with Zoo Authorities with the help of Learning Links Foundation, Hyderabad, the Dell’s initiative been possible. More than 3000 saplings of fruit bearing, flowering and shade trees have been planted at different locations in the Zoological Park, Hyderabad, as a part of the CSR activity.
Madam N Kshitija, IFS,Curator of Zoological Park, Hyderabad inaugurated the mega plantation program. She planted a sapling of Mango in the Mazhar garden area along with Mr Manishyam Sundar, Site Director, Dell Hyderabad, Ms Deepika, HR Director and Ms Latha B, Project Lead, Dell Hyderabad and team of learning Links Foundation. About 350 software employees of Dell Hyderabad and Zoo Staff participated in the plantation program and planted the saplings of Jamun, Guava, Mango, Pomegranate, Sapota, Papaya, Tikoma, Neem and Peepal etc.
IFS Curator, Zoological Park, Hyderabad appreciated the initiative of Dell, Hyderabad in coming forward with a mega plantation program in the Zoological park, Hyderabad. Moreover, She hoped that this initiative may inspire many others and to create more awareness about the need to conserve the biodiversity. Also she wished that more corporate houses will join in contributing for the prestigious Nehru Zoological Park.
