The auto rickshaw and other carrier are charging huge money to shift things from one place to another. This was unharmed to the couple, who decided to carry the bed to their home on bike. Telangana State government should make the carriers to follow certain fixed fares. But, this is not happening the people can’t bargain when they straight forwardly say no. They say no because the fare that they demand can’t suit people to afford it as per their terms.
Carrier doesn’t carry a meter fixed to it and this comes in favor of carrier drivers. Whatever they charge the public needs to give otherwise they remain unmoved. These small things happening around the city should also be taken care of. If a common man cannot afford shifting of his furniture through a carrier then he suffers.
Today, the couple bargained a lot with many carrier drivers and finally they decided to carry the furniture on their own. It would have resulted in a major accident as they were found traveling dangerously. To this issue the government have no answers yet. When they were traveling from Nampally, it was noticed but they reached home safely, which was good.
However, after reaching home safely they still were in trouble as nobody helped them. Couple then made a herculean effort to climb up the stairs to reach their home at third floor. These are small things but we should learn from it and make things simple. Had they rented a carrier then they would’ve spent a staggering amount. Again this raises a question whether the couple were right or wrong?
