Twitter decided to censor a tweet of US President Donald Trump. It was worth censoring when Trump promised to send the military to deal with looters in the USA.
The American President had said that, “any difficulty might be dealt with and as per “when looting starts, then the shooting starts”. And for this sole reason, twitter wanted to take action as the President Trump was found guilty of violating the rules. Twitter had to stop censoring even after knowing that Donald Trump had violated twitter’s terms of “glorifying violence”.
However, the real violence in Minneapolis erupted after the murder of George Floyd. It might be the case of police brutality in USA. But many shops were looted and destroyed and the police controlled the violence in USA with strict actions. Donald Trump faced censoring of his tweet because of his response to the violence when twitter defined it as “glorifying violence”.
