A Senior Congress leader from Kadapa district in AP (Andhra Pradesh) died on railway tracks. He committed suicide as he was depressed after testing positive for COVID-19. No further investigation likely. And the name of Senior Congress leader is withheld at present because of a suicide note found later.
He was 55-year-old Vice-President of Kadapa District Congress Committee. The leader tested positive for COVID-19 and he was under treatment at a private hospital in Proddutur town. However, Sub-Inspector Y Srinivasulu from Errakuntla Railway station recovered a suicide note.
The Sub-Inspector said the suicide note reveals that the deceased held no one responsible for his death. Senior Congress leader was depressed after testing positive for COVID-19. He took the extreme step based on his isolation and depressed mind because of no social activities. The suicide note indicated.
“Earlier, the leader tried leaving the hospital on Monday, but the security guards stopped him”, reported Deccan Herald. Further, the report claims he left the hospital on a two-wheeler. However, the hospital authorities wanted to speak to him but he fled away in quick time.
The security guards informed the hospital management about his leaving away from the hospital. The management called the police and this news produced after confirmation that he committed suicide. Unfortunately, Senior Congress leader was found dead on the railway tracks near Sunnapurallapalle before he could be saved.
Another case of COVID-19 also is in scrutiny. BJP’s Home Minister Amit Shah is under treatment for post COVID-19 at AIIMS hospital also not recovering. He seems to be in serious health issues. And no updates of his recovery from the illness has reached to us. It’s again a matter of concern for the BJP govt. PM Narendra Modi was close to him during his COVID-19 related symptoms produced.
