Delhi Capitals won an exciting match against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020 at Dubai International stadium. However, DC skipper Shreyas Iyer played a nice innings as he was leading from the front. With the bat, he scored a a valuable half-century. And then Shreyas Iyer injured while fielding as RR started the run chase aggressively. Earlier, wickets were falling around Iyer, who held one end and put up a competitive score for his team DC.

DC scored 161. And the target of 162 for RR looked so easy in their first 10 overs, guys. They played too aggressively to begin with.

The Delhi captain scored 53 runs and played a key role in taking his side to a competitive total of 161. The skipper of Delhi Capitals, Shreyas Iyer injured as he hurt his left shoulder while fielding. It all happened only in the 5th over as he tried to stop a powerful shot from Ben Stokes at mid-off.

Shreyas Iyer had made contact with the ground as it seemed he was in severe pain, rubbing his shoulder. The DC physio immediately responded. Physio Patrick Farhat rushed in. However, there was so much damage done while fielding that Shreyas Iyer injured severely.

The injury was serious at that moment as the DC captain was taken off the field to the dressing room. And after treatment Shreyas Iyer was never away from this exciting match. He was closely watching the match. Also he was unable to return to the field. It seems he will miss few upcoming games. Shikher Dhawan will marshal the DC troops.

Delhi Capitals scored 161/7 in their 20 over after winning the toss and electing to bat first. RR couldn’t chase and scored 148/8. Tewatia, this time played a horrible knock for Rajasthan Royals (RR). Top order of the RR team was very impressive while middle order failed this time.
