The reason for the farmers in India to protest against amended MSP is lawful. MSP means Minimum Support Prices. The new bill 2020, removed cereals, pulses, oilseeds, edible oils, onion and potatoes from the list of essential commodities. There will be a huge impact for the farmers to earn less from the new bill. Not even lesser but the farmers won’t make profits.
Many celebrities and social activists also joining the protests of farmers in India and so in short the protests will not be wasteful. This is because the next target of the farmers will be to demand resignation of Prime Minister of India. And if he never listens to farmers then BJP have to wind up. This means, it’s not going to be a protest that can be stopped.
