Pakistan did fairly well after opting to bat against Namibia when conditions were suitable for bowling first. Babar Azam took a bold decision as it proves that even Pakistan can chase easily. This time Pakistan if wins the toss they’ll decide to take a decision not as they took against Namibia. Pakistan to play Scotland as practice but will be looking for a win if not a big victory to look forward for semi final. Pakistan will play Australia and it looks like India or New Zealand to play England if anything good happens for India. India vs England and Pakistan vs Australia will be good enough for an exciting final between India and Pakistan.
India hopes to enter semi final depending upon the outcome of Afghanistan vs New Zealand match. Team India wants Afghanistan to win today’s day game against Kiwis. That’s a bit of permutation and combination, but again South Africa just lost 1 match from the other group and lost a place in semi final. So, in T20 World Cup, it’s likely that sometimes things can be transformed if you never play good cricket.
NRR (Net Run Rate) of South Africa was not so good. Australia is better that South Africa in terms of NRR. So, Australia played some strokes and big hits to be in semi final.
India on the other hand didn’t start well, losing two big matches. Played better cricket only against Afghanistan and Scotland. England and Australia are likely to be the top 2 teams. The semi final results if good cricket maintained then a final between England and Pakistan is likely. Pakistan to play Scotland as a match to have some good practice.
