Suryakumar Yadav better known as SKY dazzled as sky kept pouring in to abandon the ODI 2, finally. India were 22/0 in 4.5 overs when rain in its first burst, stopped the match. After a long wait, India resumed their innings. Shikhar Dhawan (3, 10b) showed some intent later on, but did mishit the ball to be caught by Lockie Ferguson bowled by Matt Henry. However, SKY scored 34 off 25 balls, and India was in total control, but still India need 1 more change for Wednesday’s final ODI.
Earlier, SKY walked in and played cautiously to begin with a start, he wasn’t looking for. He scored 17 off 18 balls when India was 69/1 off 11 overs.
However, in just 12.5 overs, India scored 89/1 as Shubman Gill (45, 42b) and Suryakumar Yadav (34, 25b) did some quick-scoring. Both started to hit the ball, particularly SKY dazzled, but ODI 2, unfortunately had to be abandoned. With some positives of India batting in the abandoned ODI 2, there were two good changes India made. India brought back Deepak Chahar in place of Shardul Thakur and Deepak Hooda in place of Sanju Samson.
The two changes, India made in the second ODI, and was looking to level the series were just appropriate. The changes were good enough for Sunday’s ODI match. But, India need 1 more change in the end to level the series. Just bring in, in-form Sanju Samson in place of Rishabh Pant. Isn’t it good to play with five bowlers again? If so, then drop Yuzvendra Chahal and if all fifty-fifty over game happens Sanju Samson would be too good to comeback. However, keeping Pant in the team not at all good. But Chahal is a gamble too.
How we post reports like India need 1 more change…, etc.
