Asia Cup To Shift From Pakistan & More
Najam Sethi, PCB’s chairman is upset over what’s going on between India and Pakistan other than other cricket playing nations. This time, Asia Cup to shift from Pakistan to UAE and lots of talks still needs to be carried on. There will be another Asian cricket council’s meeting in March 2023. However, yesterday’s meeting caused panic for PCB because of BCCI’s BIG another ‘NO’, ensuring Indian cricket team to not play in Pakistan. This will be the end or fall of the rise of Pakistan’s cricket. With everything on turmoil, Pakistan also would not visit India.
BCCI spoiling Asia Cup 2023 or Pakistan cricket’s extensiveness since cricket returned to Pakistan. Here again, what likely Pakistan would do in return as BCCI also broke their promise to visit Pakistan after Pakistan played cricket in India. That was a Pakistan tour of India, a decade back. Now again, India spoiling Asia Cup 2023, which would be shifted from Pakistan to the UAE.
It’s not simple either, but Pakistan cricket would lose huge money, and end up spoiling ODI World Cup 2023 to be played in India. Asia Cup 2023 also is in middle-format, a preparation for the middle-format (ODI) World Cup 2023 for Asian countries. “Whether we lose from whatever maybe the outcome, we would also retaliate”. Similar statement to what earlier PCB’s Chairman Ramiz Raja said.
This means Pakistan would spoil World Cup 2023 to be played in India by opting out. Pakistan would not visit India to play World Cup 2023. A big loss for Pakistan, ICC, and India. ICC would take action on Pakistan, but PCB would be ready to deal with. The battle would not end from there, it would be further known again after ACC’s meeting on March for Asia Cup 2023 schedule and more.
