The ICC still needs to confirm that since India not travelling to Pakistan, it’s also Pakistan’s ‘right’ to not travel to India. However, it’s likely that all Pakistan’s ODI games of the 2023 ODI world cup will be hosted by India in the UAE.
Cricket fans are happy to see India’s big wins and big losing history so far. India lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets in the 2021 world cup played in the UAE.
Pakistan on the other hand will play their ODI games in Pakistan except against India. Other teams playing India also will play in the UAE against India.
Cricket fans say, in the UAE, Pakistan’s winning record is very good than at home. They also consider UAE as their second home. However, Asia Cup in UAE will be played just for few games in which India would participate. The Asia Cup 2023 schedule has not been released as of now. It’s likely that Asia Cup will be played in the month of August this year.
An ODI world cup preparation for the Asian teams is the main objective for this year’s Asia Cup. But Pakistan holds the rights to host this year’s Asia Cup.
