The ODI World Cup is starting from October 5 #EngvNZ on Thursday, but a complete schedule not yet confirmed. BCCI secretary told espncricinfo that most of the teams not happy with the schedule, which was announced just 100 days before the World Cup. Earlier World Cup schedules for 2015 and 2019 were announced a year before. But right from the Asia Cup issue, it’s again another issue created by Jay Shah. However, Pakistan to play India at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium on Oct 14 by tweaking changes also with other scheduled ODIs.

According to the latest reports, Jay Shah didn’t agree to what was expected due to the Hindu festival Navratri. He said, not just because of Navratri, but due to some issues of other teams too. Meanwhile, security experts earlier told Jay Shah as per reliable sources that two big occasions, the Navratri celebration and #IndvPak couldn’t be managed at the same time.

The 2023 World Cup schedule would be announced officially on or before Aug 5. Tickets would be open for sale from Aug 10. On Saturday two other big matches also would be played or not would be discussed tonight. The two big matches scheduled on Saturday Oct 14 are #NZvBan and #EngvAFG. These two ODIs are not so big matches and would be affected by the biggest ODI of the 2023 World Cup initial stage, #IndvPak. However, semi finals on Wednesday and Thursday and final on Sunday would likely to be crowd pulling events even if India and Pakistan won’t qualify.
