India to Play Bangladesh in not so one sided contest
Team India so far played good cricket. Better in the field and bowling department. Team India is not just a batting side to win every match one-sidedly, but their bowlers also are the best. Rohit Sharma playing as if he’s seeing the ball like a football to hit on the on side and to fine leg with perfect timings. He’s so far the best opener in the 2023 World Cup.
Having him as a hit-man in the team and also with bowlers like Bumrah, Siraj, Kuldeep, Jadeja, India to play Bangladesh on Oct 19, with full of confidence.
One would not be surprised if India bats first to score less than 250. But if Bangladesh bats first, the wicket would look just like a 220 plus. India would easily chase 220 or more, but again the contest would not be one-sided. However, India would be on top of the table again to leave New Zealand behind at no 2, South Africa at no 3, and Pakistan at no 4.
The outcome or the result in favor of India, matters the most however hard Bangladesh tries to bowl out India. India’s middle-order is strong and the lower order not required to bat. They are not necessarily in need to bowl and bat.
Take Bangladesh for example, if Taskin Ahmed is in the playing 11, he would be just expensive. The way, Indian batters uses the pace to score boundaries, is incredible. Mustafizur Rahman and the captain Shakib Al Hasan can bowl economically, but not threatening.
If Bangladesh to win this match to add 2 more points, having won a single match, they should score over 280 or from the start should focus on adding fifty more runs however, the innings go, in their favor or not, they should pile runs. They need to focus on 5 fifties, one by one by losing not many wickets. In the end, they would happy to set a target of 280 plus.
If India bats first then the game would not be one-sided, the match would go anywhere. India would still be disappointed because they would feel, they’re just 20 runs short even if they score 270 plus. The game is on and it takes a lot to break the momentum of undefeated India so far in this 2023 World Cup. India to play Bangladesh, to sum-up, it’s not so one-sided contest to be played in Pune.
