He scored the fastest fifty off 18 balls this season until Hardik Pandya played a blistering knock by scoring his fifty in just 17 balls. Now, Delhi needs to beat Chennai to play Mumbai in the Final. It can be possible as Delhi has more capable batting and bowling attack than Chennai. Chennai on the other hand, determined to win yet again. However, Dhoni’s men could be under pressure after losing the first qualifier against Mumbai.
Delhi, Chennai Potential and Hitters
There might be a lot on stake. MS Dhoni scoring at a brisk rate in recent matches, needs to bat up the order and if he fails then anything can happen. In Chennai team you must know that all big hitting players are over 35 years of age. For over 35 year old players, there will be no consistency to be fit and in clean hitting form. Hitters are those, who pick the nature of the ball bowled to them early. Young hitters are always an asset to the team.
In Rishab Pant, Delhi finds a lot as the strongest player and after him follows some good hitters as such. The contest between Delhi and Chennai will be interesting to watch, and will be played on Friday night.
