India lost to Australia while playing as heroes can be justified here in this story. The Indian team showed their concern over martyred soldiers and wore khaki caps. This act was observed by Pakistan sports officials and they got hurt. Pakistan then reported their concern to the ICC over this issue. Cricket Pakistan believes that politics shouldn’t be mixed with gentleman’s game.
One source said concentration of the Indian cricket players was belittled by their efforts to show patriotism. In another source, it was reported that why Virat Kohli and his team played politics on cricket ground?
“Cricket shouldn’t be politicized”, it was claimed by Pakistan by adding that they too can do something similar. “If ICC takes no action then Pakistan players will wear black bands as protest against the atrocities in Kashmir”. After saying this Pakistan is playing a waiting game. However, none of the other cricketing nations were amused or remarked on Indian players’ gesture of wearing Khaki caps.
Indian team did this act, which made them to bow down to Australia and were defeated. It was a silly mistake that they wore caps of Khaki colors and believed in political game. Cricket being a gentleman’s game cannot accept such acts.
