It was reported that Dr Rajat Kumar, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana is seen addressing the Media today at Secretariat. He wants peaceful completion of the Elections. He orders all parties to avoid pasting their banners on the walls and so on. Furthermore, the mode of conduct is applicable to all the political parties of Telangana State.
Mode of conduct (MCC) comes into operation with immediate effect from today March 10th itself in the entire State.
The address states that all hoardings of political parties at bus stations, railway stations, and on flyovers will be removed. There will be stringent action on the misuse of any public spaces and will be considered as highly objectionable. It was also reportedly said that within 48 hours every advertisement of political parties on public places will be removed.
