Multi cultural and multi religious democratic country, India is all about give and take across its beliefs. Many religions thrive in this country and feel at ease with each other’s religion. The use of the word gods applies to various religions in India but not for only one religion, which is Islam. Islam is all about monotheism and the Muslims follow Islam and worship one God. There’s no word like gods in Islam.
Taking into account the mixed feelings about many religions in India that already seen Islam as the simplest. Peace in other religions has been taken from Islam and they used some basic laws of Islam in their following of a better path. People in India tried many things that Islam use to teach and mix these in their religions to live a better life. However, there’s no excuse for Muslims as well. The Muslims get more excited in every occasion of good and bad and that’s not required. Controlling the emotions and keeping a lot of patience needs to be practiced by the Muslims. Islam teaches peaceful living; and let’s be peaceful.
Muslims in India
Muslims in India celebrate not in accordance with Islam. They copy the way of celebrating any occasion from other religions, even the holy month of Ramadan if it mattered. Ramadan is the month of worshiping and not for time pass and celebration. Off course after the end of the Month of Ramadan, there’s Eid-ul-fitr for Muslims to celebrate. And that too needs proper guidance from Islam to celebrate and be happy. However, Muslims in India use their religion Islam for entertainment purpose mostly.
In marriage functions as well Muslims spend huge money and waste a lot of blessed time.
Ramadan schedule of Muslims in India
As soon as the month of Ramadan starts, you can see food stalls with increase in sales as well as clothing shops’ sale multiplied. Footwear and jewelry shops also find rush of Muslims in their businesses. Everywhere Muslims in India get noticed for shopping and not for worshiping, which is shocking.
But yes, the mosques get more attendance of Muslims everyday, yet you can find people awake in the nights and been enjoying. What does that mean? Almighty Allah prefers Muslims to sleep early and if they want to get up at midnight and do worshiping, they get rewards.
Muslims need to understand that after they finish their duties or jobs, they still have most important duty in their hands. This duty demands the remembrance of the Almighty not just from the tongues of the Muslims but from their hearts.
The more the Muslims follow Islam correctly the more benefit they get in their worldly lives as well as their hereafters. However, in Ramadan every nook and corner at the midnight or at late night looks glittery with Muslims enjoying by wasting time. The glitter of joy needs to be at their homes and not at the roadside corners.
Finally, Muslims in India need to understand Islam the way it is and be simple, humble and peaceful.
