Saudi Arabia is dedicated in providing the best services to the Haj Pilgrims every year, it was reported. This year there will be more comfort for the Haj pilgrims, who visit Saudi Arabia from different countries. Haj pilgrims visit Saudi Arabia’s most famous Holy City Mecca every year for Haj from all over the world.
Many people from different parts of the world are the everyday visitors of this Holy City Mecca for Umrah. Umrah is yet another way of worshiping the Almighty. In Umrah, Muslims visit Mecca and to begin it, pray two rakats of Salah (A shorter prayer) in front of the Kaba.
Thereby they do tawaf (circulate Kaba seven times) and finish their Umrah after doing Sahi (Seven rounds of Saffa and Marwah).
Saffa and Marwah are the two sacred places. Between these places Bibi Hajra seeked Allah’s blessings by running to and fro to quench the thirst of her baby. The baby in her shoulders was Hazrat Ismail Alai Salam, son of Ibrahim Alai Salam and Bibi Hajra. This pleased the Almighty and the Lord of the worlds created water wells there itself.
These wells never dried up yet. Their water is called Abe Zam Zam and continues to flow and of no limited quantity on earth. This water is nutritious and very pure and never gets contaminated or forms bacteria. The water remains clean even if you keep it in a bottle for a year.
After the Sahi is done men shave their heads or do a hair cut while women cut their hair a bit.
Haj pilgrims also do similar form of worshiping as Umrah but a bit longer.
