As UNICEF ambassador, Priyanka Chopra says she is a Global citizen. Moreover, she was also praised by her husband Nick Jones over her social work and interaction with helpless people around the world. Many extremists asked her “why she is doing this? and for her motherland India, what’s her good work?” She replied that she belongs to the earth and every living being on the planet should be taken care of.
Why this trend of pseudo patriotism without caring anyone else besides their own community is going on in India needs an answer?
Priyanka’s husband also posted her pictures of her interaction with Muslim Ethiopians on Instagram. He said he is proud of Priyanka as his wife. However, Indian media created a lengthy story of the Ethiopians revealing their personal lives as well. This is too much because the extremists should be taught a strong lesson of peace. As such when someone does good and in return he or she is called as anti national.
The Bollywood celebrity was undeterred by these thoughts of some extremists Indians, who does not prioritize things. They want everything should be done for the Indians only and no need to care about the humans on earth. As good citizens of India, we should not be selfish. Moreover, instead of applauding over the good work of Priyanka Chopra they simply criticized her. The reason best known to them and if not they will realize that they’re wrong one fine day.
