Losing Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma early seemed like great setback and more trouble followed with the fall of Virat Kohli’s wicket. A useless shot from Vijay Shankar nicked his bat to get him out caught behind was another blow, which was watched in awe.
Now MS Dhoni and KL Rahul together played some attracting shots and their powerful partnership keeps India’s hopes alive. Together they scored at a rate of above 7 runs per over and took India over 200 mark. There’s still more than a dozen overs left and it looks like India might score more than 270. This competitive score will pose as a challenge for the Bangladeshis and they might succumb to India’s powerful bowling attack. A win can bring a big smile on Virat Kohli’s face for sure.
