Let’s know about head shave and haircut for Umrah as such which’s better practice.
Muslims from around the world visit Mecca to perform Umrah on large numbers everyday. Most of the Muslims after performing Umrah visit Madina as well. They feel more peaceful in Madina and relaxed after worshiping in Mecca as they continue praying in Madina as well.
Muslims from around the world enjoy their pilgrimage for Umrah for many reasons. They get more rewards if they offer their prayers at Mecca. Praying in Mecca get their rewards multiplied for each prayer of their obligatory prayers. Moreover, praying in Madina gives them more rewards as well.
The figure of the rewards Muslims get while praying in Mecca or Madina shouldn’t be believed in other ways. Other ways could be like not praying at home country and visiting Mecca every few months to makeup with their prayers. And committing sins at their home country and visiting Mecca for Umrah frequently to get forgiveness as a routine. However, five times praying are must for any Muslim at any corner of the world.
Well, a person had asked the Prophet (PBUH) about head shave for Umrah is better or not. He (PBUH) replied may Allah have mercy on him if he shaves his head. The Prophet (PBUH) kept saying more on head shave reward than trimming of hair such as a haircut. He (PBUH) also then said “may Allah have mercy on him if he does haircut”, when asked about haircut many times.
