Game Plan for Australia
Warner should play a bit more cautious innings as he played against India, where in he was criticized. His low strike rate was disappointing after he was ultimately out with increasing it and consumed overall more deliveries. This time also he should continue playing similar innings again as he played against India. Then from the 20th over on wards his strike rate will improve and it will be good for Australia. If he can take calculated risks then Australia will dominate the game against Pakistan.
Glen Maxwell should be promoted to number three position and Steve Smith should come later and compile the innings.
Australia shouldn’t depend on their spinners to get wickets but keep a tidy length and line in their bowling. Just need to stop Pakistan from scoring runs briskly. Keep the run rate under check.
Game Plan for Pakistan
Pakistan needs to play better than they played against England. Openers need to consume all the first 20 overs and then think about big hitting. Babar Azam should play cautiously as with whom, the batting order revolves around. Pakistan’s bowling should be even better. They should try not to take more wickets but should keep run rate under 4 till the end of 25 overs. Pakistan shouldn’t worry too much as it will play on the minds of their fielders and they can drop catches.
Fakhar Zaman should play his natural game as usual but should think of scoring more than 70 odd runs.
