Inter School Competitions held as Prizes distributed pics inside

Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) Inter School Competitions were organised for the second consecutive year. The initial phase of the competitions were conducted in cluster based format for all the three Army Public Schools and Kendriya Vidyalayas. Notable addition to this year’s competition has been the Sainik School Kalikiri. The competitions were conducted in the field of sports, academic performance, Inter School Quiz and Debate.

The final competition in this format was the Inter School English Debate competition. In which all the 10 Schools of TASA fielded their teams. It was hosted at Shakti Auditorium by AOC Center, Secunderabad today. Chief guest for the event was Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area. He’s also the Patron of all Army Public Schools in twin cities and Sainik School, Kalikiri. Brigadier JJS Bhinder Commandant, AOC Centre was the guest of honor for the day.

Brigadier V V Reddy (Retired), Principals of all TASA Schools, eminent educationists, teachers, parents and students were seen. 

Education Promotion & Inter School Competition

TASA aims to promote education with a holistic approach and develops multifaceted individuals, through its educational institutions. Inter school debate competition is an annual feature, which aims to nurture the current generation of budding speakers. Further, skilled sculptors of words, to exhibit their views, ideas, thoughts, and opinions for a better present and a brighter future.

The students enthusiastically participated and put forth their views by speaking for and against the topic ‘Social media does more harm than good for the society’. The team from Army Public School Bolarum bagged the first position and Army Public School RK Puram stood second in the Debate Competition. Event included presentation of the achievers certificate to student toppers in academics from class 1 to 12 of all the TASA Schools by Major General N Srinivas Rao. A total of 136 students from Kendriya Vidyalayas, Army public schools and Sainik school received the prizes.

The GOC complemented the principals and teachers for the excellent results in the schools collectively producing year after year.
