Online delivery apps fail to impress for food delivery after lockdown ended

Online delivery apps like Swiggy and Zomato worst hit during the COVID-19 crises. Food businesses also too much dependent over these apps for their sales. During the lockdown all food businesses had shutdown upon the instructions of the govt. After the lockdown the online delivery apps fail to impress people with their high rates of delivering the food. And also because the people most likely want homemade food to be safe.

Always it’s better to consume homemade food rather than opting for outside junk. The major health problems come over and again during the COVID-19 because of outside food. Outside food might carry infection of COVID-19 or Coronavirus with the food cooked in an unhygienic way. Swiggy and Zomato were previously called as the online delivery giants. And these apps used to make more money to the tune of millions in a day.

But even after the lockdown ended and all the restaurants open, the business of the two giant apps failed. The collapse of online delivery apps is a concern for the delivery men as they need to take care of their families. Reportedly, the apps reduced the salaries of their employees. This is a major setback for the delivery workers.

And had not much affected the business owners. The online delivery apps fail to keep up their promises. And delivering the food not in quick time.
