Weekend curfew in Delhi not justified say “experts” without learning more

Most people agreed to what “experts” and few more such popular persons claimed that weekend curfew in Delhi not justified. One of them was so angry that by the name Sayema, an artist went on to tweet: “It’s the most stupid thing ever! Weekend curfew doesn’t control COVID infections. But it takes away people’s livelihood, for sure! Many small businesses, retailers, and local sellers look forward to weekend sales. This is plain cruelty on them. Weekend and night curfews are a gimmick!

In the very true sense, where in Delhi, there used to be gatherings around many places during weekends. Adding night curfew too in someway can reduce the spread of COVID. Isn’t it a fair call?

Night curfew in Delhi from 10: PM to 5: AM everyday already imposed, which follows the weekend curfew in Delhi not justified and why? There maybe many legit and applicable decisions, govts of every state need to take. If it wasn’t so good then why most of the people responded to the central govt’s call to light a candle for 9 minutes? 9 minutes of switching off electricity and lighting up of candles or diyas also not justified. Wait! There was some bang! bang! too. This resulted in power supply switch off independently everywhere in India and had also troubled electricity departments.

That happened long-back. However, why certain steps like online education instead of in-person education also criticized? Criticism comes when you’re in opposition. Right?

What these pseudo “experts” need to learn

The daily-life in Delhi needs to be learned, and then if you come out with disagreements to what the govts do or decide, you’ll be listened. Due to number teachers and students infected with COVID when education was in-person, it was then necessary to switch from in-person to online education. Here’s the weekend curfew in Delhi is good to stop people from rushing into places wherever they like. They’ll mostly rush into restaurants and also do parties during weekends. Night curfew is also good because to keep people stay at homes from 10: PM to 5: AM, isn’t fair enough? It still reduces the number of COVID infections, which is a mild step other than going for a month’s lockdown.

Sayema: Artist

You’ll say whatever you want to or come up with solutions, which you learn from these pseudo “experts”. There’s no way better than weekend curfew and night curfew to stop the spread of the virus. This is so because of the shortage of beds in the hospitals, leave aside the hospital rooms. You can’t be admitted in any hospital if you’re critically ill from COVID or any other diseases because of lack of space in the hospitals.

If you want a normal life. Bothered about businesses then aren’t you bothered when more than 10% COVID patients need to be hospitalized? More than 10% people need hospital treatments out of so many people going through COVID symptoms. You never know the 10% rate would turnout to become thousands in your area or place. Where will you find a bed in any hospital near or even too far from you. So weekend and night curfew in Delhi justified this way. The similar situations also likely to happen around various states in the South India too.
