Telangana State’s Chief Minister K. Chandrashekher Rao announced on 4TV yesterday about his govt’s rejection of CAA. CAA is Citizenship Amendment Act and with it BJP govt wants to give Citizenship to non Muslims. Non Muslims from countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be given Citizenship. But the question is how the BJP govt know that people from these countries are actual non Muslims? What if they’re Muslims with change of their names, they can grab Citizenship? However, CM of Telangana State said discrimination of people in terms of religion should be condemned.
He said Telangana State will benefit a lot if the State rejects CAA. “BJP’s acts are baseless as I only supported them for abrogating article 370 from Kashmir”. Said the CM as it’s India’s internal matter because Kashmir is an integral part of India. People can protest in this State against such criminal acts carried out by the BJP govt. They should never submit any documents whenever they come across to be asked to do so.
Some States already rejected CAA, NRC & NPR. These are Kerala, Punjab & Rajasthan. Telangana will be the fourth State to reject BJP’s strategies of divide & rule with CAA process.
BJP created trouble across India as they keep on violating. They used RSS goons against protesters and turned peaceful protests into violent. They tried to beat up protesters and damaged bikes & cars and tried to play blame games whenever possible.
